Biomimicry, as a form of design work, has significant potential for improving and innovating approaches to design thinking in the creation of products, space, and services. On October 12, 2023, training on this topic was prepared by Assoc. Ing. Zuzana Tončíková, ArtD.

In the lecture part of the meeting, we addressed the topic of Bioinspiration as a method of creating nature-inspired innovations in design. Doc. Ing. Tončíková, ArtD. presented the issue and stated its direct relationship with innovative procedures applicable in practice. She further presented the system of work according to the methodology of 4 phases of the creative process, creation and imitation.

In the second part of the meeting, we discussed Bioinspirations as creative thinking strategies using direct examples.

In the last part of the meeting, we designed a model for the future design proposal based on the functional cards from the workshop.
