On October 17, 2023, we held a workshop with Assoc. Prof. René Baďur. The topic of Co-design was a natural continuation of the previous Human-centered design education. Based on direct experience, the lecturer explained the real procedures, results and failures of co-design processes in Slovakia. We discussed the reasons for the failures of these processes based on direct examples from practice.

The workshop we attended was primarily focused on identifying the pitfalls faced by diverse community spectrums that designers, architects and landscape architects must face. The workshop also included an argumentative exercise in the process of creating design with the community. We also identified reasons why co-design has the potential to be a suitable business and design tool.
