On October 15, 2024, the Creative Center of SUA in Nitra and the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) presented a new concept of creative discussions and inspiring meetings called the Creative Café.
The main goal is to support innovatively-minded students and faculty and university staff in implementing their ideas. The theme of the pilot event was creative marketing, uncovering consumer behavior and using innovative solutions in connection with study subjects and research at FEM. The Creative Café was visited by second-year business students who are engaged in market research, as well as FEM experts who are interested in collaborating and being creative. As part of the event, they toured the new multifunctional space of the Creative Center for Research and Sustainable Innovative Solutions, got acquainted with the departments, modern technologies and opportunities that the center offers.
"Since the Creative Center has an advertising department, we want to actively use all the possibilities and opportunities that cooperation between experts from our faculty, employees of the Creative Center and local entrepreneurs can bring. We can address them with the right idea, offer them the ideas they need in their business activities," said FEM Dean Elena Horská.
Multifunctional spaces, modern studios for landscape creation and design, virtual and augmented reality laboratories, camera and 3D studios were also visited by foreign guests. Among them were Professor Nirundon Tapachai from Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand, and Professor Gaetano Macario from the Italian Aldo Moro University in Bari. As Macario said, they have a modern innovative center at the University of Bari. "We would welcome the creation of a community of people willing to cooperate with each other in science, research and education and to create creatively," he said enthusiastically.
The discussion covered the topic of creative marketing, connecting the Creative Center with study subjects and research at the university.
