On October 17, 2024, a hackathon was held at the SPU Creative Center in Nitra, aimed at supporting students with entrepreneurial ambitions, creative thinking and a desire to gain new experiences. The event, organized in cooperation with the non-profit organization JCI Slovakia and the coordinator of the advertising department of the SPU Creative Center in Nitra, Assoc. Ing. Jakub Berčík, provided a unique space for developing ideas and connecting with professionals from various fields.
One of the main partners of the hackathon was Orange Slovakia, which presented its portfolio and cooperation opportunities in the creative industry to the participants. They focused mainly on supporting solutions for the B2B sector, such as consumer behavior analysis through video processing, location tracking, and efficient data processing, storage, and security. These innovative technologies opened new horizons for students and showed how they can be used in business.
A highlight of the program was the presentation by Ing. Tomáš Bartók, DrSc., MBA, who shared his experience in the field of biotechnology. His lecture provided participants with a deeper insight into the specifics of this segment and inspired them to explore business opportunities in the biotechnology industry.
The hackathon created a space for networking, exchanging ideas and gaining valuable experience, while supporting the development of young talents and their entrepreneurial visions. The event was a demonstration of how creative activities on campus can connect students, experts and companies to build innovative solutions for the future.
